In a tight game it was the Gotham Gold Gloves 4, the Dublin Pubcrawlers 2 at
Chase Field.
In the top of the 4th inning Gotham scored 2 runs when they came up with 3
base hits. After an out was recorded, Tommy Pham got things rolling when he
lofted a solo-blast 'downtown'. Paul Dejong followed next and he smashed a
bases-empty 'big-fly'. Gotham managed 9 hits in their victory.
The win was credited to Johnny Cueto(6-5) who went 5 and 1/3 innings allowing
2 runs. Cueto got relief help from Matt Barnes who gained credit for his 4th
save. Madison Bumgarner(7-5) ended up with the loss. He served up 4
homeruns in his 9 innings.
'I had a little blister on my index finger before the game, but I thought it
was nothing.' Cueto said. 'I was lucky I got a win because I couldn't put
the ball where I wanted it.'
