Ryon Healy had 3 base hits and 2 RBI as the Aarlington Aardvarks bested the
Oakland Athletics 6 to 5 at Oakland Coliseum.
Oakland surrendered all of the runs Aarlington needed in the 6th inning as
they scored 6 runs on 3 base hits. The big moment was provided by Healy who
deflated the crowd as he doubled bringing in two baserunners. Oakland could
do no damage in the bottom of the 9th.
The winning pitcher was Jacob Degrom(9-8) who allowed 4 runs in 6 innings.
Degrom got relief help from Hector Neris who gained credit for his 9th save.
Eddie Butler(3-4) was the losing pitcher in relief. He couldn't find the
strike zone and allowed 5 walks in 2 and 1/3 innings.
