The Gotham Gold Gloves pitchers essentially took the day off at Edsel Stadium
as the Aarlington Aardvarks offense erupted for 9 runs while Jacob
Degrom(8-8)with effective use of the bullpen constrained Gotham.
The game started off with Aarlington taking the lead in the first when they
tallied 5 runs on 6 hits. The early run support proved sufficient for Degrom
and Aarlington. That was all the run support Degrom required. Aarlington
had 12 hits for the night while Gotham had 5.
Matt Garza(3-6) was given the loss. He surrendered 5 hits and no walks in 2/3
of an inning.
