Rougned Odor jacked one out of the ballyard and had 3 RBI and Aaron Nola mowed
down 13 Dublin batters at the ballpark as the Dyersville Jurassics beat the
Dublin Pubcrawlers by the count of 5 to 4.
Nola(3-7) pitched well for Dyersville in their victory. He allowed 7 hits and
4 walks in 6 and 2/3 innings and was touched for 2 homeruns. Dublin
threatened in the 9th but their rally came up short.
Brad Brach earned his 15th save. Justin Verlander(6-7) was tagged with the
loss. Dyersville knocked him around a bit, as he gave up 5 runs in 3 and 2/3
innings.
Nola was jubilant in the hometown clubhouse, 'It was a lot of fun out there.
The fans gave me a lot of support as did my teammates. We got the victory
and I'll sure take 13 strikeouts anytime!'
