The San Ybel Islanders had very little trouble at PNC Park downing the
Dyersville Jurassics. The score was 13 to 8.
Cody Bellinger provided much of the offense. He smashed a solo-shot out of
the park in the 2nd inning, ripped a one-base hit in the 5th inning and
doubled bringing in two baserunners in the 8th inning. San Ybel dominated
offensively as they scored in 6 different innings.
Chase Anderson(7-2) went 5 innings allowing 5 runs for the victory. Josh
Tomlin(3-4) ended up with the loss. He was knocked around pretty good,
giving up 5 runs in 4 innings.
The winning ways continue for San Ybel. They now have a record of 8-2 in
recent days. With the loss, Dyersville has a record of 5-5 lately, 25-46,
worst in the division overall.
