separated the combatants at game's end. The Burbank Tigers put 4 runs on the
scoreboard in the 8th inning and won by the slimmest of margins, 5 to
4.
Burbank came through with the game-winning runs in the top of the 8th inning
scoring 4 runners on 3 hits. The crucial at-bat was provided by Trea Turner
who disappointed the partisan crowd when he smacked a single bringing home
two baserunners. Dublin threatened in the 9th but their rally came up short.
Zach Davies(5-3) went 7 innings allowing 3 runs for the victory. Davies got
help from David Robertson who earned his 12th save. The loss was charged to
Jason Motte(0-1) in relief.
