In an entertaining game at the ballpark the final score was the Bozeman Bees
10, the Aarlington Aardvarks 7.
Bozeman took the lead for good in the 6th inning with 3 runs on 4 base hits.
Mookie Betts led off and got things going when he ripped a one-base hit.
Jordan Zimmermann then picked Betts off first base. After an out was
recorded, Giancarlo Stanton then blasted a solo shot. Eric Thames followed
next and he doubled. Brian Dozier stepped into the box and smashed a two-run
homer. Bozeman had 16 hits for the game and Aarlington had 9.
The winning pitcher was Fernando Abad(1-0) who allowed no runs in 2 innings.
Abad got help from Yusmeiro Petit who was credited with his 16th save. Adam
Conley(0-7) was tagged with the loss in relief. He surrendered 1 run and 3
hits in 2/3 of an inning.
With this win, Bozeman has a division leading 37-18 record. They have been
