The Dyersville Jurassics got by the Streator Reds at the ballpark. The final
score was 5 to 3.
Dyersville scored 3 runs in the 3rd inning when they came up with 3 base hits.
Evan Gattis led off and started the attack as he drew a walk. Brandon
Crawford stepped into the batter's box and he smashed a two-run homer.
Hernan Perez then stroked a base-hit. Perez was safe on a stolen base.
Dyersville continued their aggressive style with another stolen base. After
an out was recorded, Max Kepler stepped in and he doubled scoring the final
run of the inning. Dyersville rapped out 7 hits for the night.
Scott Feldman(2-1) picked up the victory, allowing 3 runs in 5 innings. Brad
Brach gained credit for his 9th save. Alex Meyer(3-2) was charged with the
loss. By surrending 4 runs in 5 innings his ERA jumped from 2.10 to 2.83.
The Dyersville ballclub's record now stands at 19-33. Ralph Madara was
unhappy with his club's recent performance. 'We can't keep losing games' he
said. 'It gets to be embarrassing after a while.'
