Shortstop Brandon Crawford had 3 base hits and 4 RBI as the Dyersville
Jurassics defeated the Chicago Colts 15 to 13 at West Side Park.
Bartolo Colon(7-14) looked shaky but got the win. He gave up 8 runs in 7
innings and allowed 4 gopher balls. Dyersville kept the scorekeepers busy in
the 3rd inning which saw them score 4 runs on 5 hits and the 8th inning when
they had 4 runs on 4 hits. Chicago had a chance to come back in the 9th but
they came up short.
Colon got help from Jim Johnson who was credited with his 23rd save. Tyler
Chatwood(9-13) absorbed the loss. Dyersville scored big getting 7 runs off
him in 2 and 1/3 innings.
