Alex Dickerson had 4 hits and 6 RBI at the ballpark as the red-hot Dyersville
Jurassics belted the Streator Reds by the count of 16 to 6.
The Dyersville fans enjoyed the offense provided by Dickerson. He doubled
bringing in a run in the 1st inning, banged out a single which was good for
two runs in the 4th inning, doubled scoring two baserunners in the 7th inning
and stroked a one-base hit which brought home a run in the 8th inning.
Dyersville provided plenty of action in the 4th inning with 6 runs on 6 hits
and the 8th inning which saw them score 5 runs on 6 hits. Dyersville
dominated offensively as they scored in 6 different innings.
Junior Guerra(9-3) was the winner allowing 3 runs in 7 innings. The loss was
charged to Jake Thompson(2-3). He allowed a few too many baserunners giving
up 10 hits and 3 walks in 3 and 2/3 innings.
