The San Ybel Islanders came roaring back in the top of the ninth to spoil the
anticipated celebration of the hometown fans. The final score,, was 4 to
3.
San Ybel had the game winning rally in the top of the 9th inning scoring 2
runs using 2 hits. After an out was recorded, Devon Travis was the sparkplug
when he lined a base-hit. Freddy Galvis stepped into the batter's box and he
smashed a two-run homer. Overall San Ybel out-hit Chicago 13 to 10.
Kendall Graveman(5-13) went 8 innings allowing 3 runs for the victory.
Graveman got help from Alex Colome who was credited with his 16th save. Luke
Gregerson(2-5) suffered the loss in relief.
'Craig Ahrndt was estatic following the game, 'You love stealing one on the
road like this. We just kept plugging away until we pulled it out!'
