At Oakland Coliseum the struggling Oakland Athletics were battered 8 to 2 by
the streaking Bozeman Bees.
Lucas Duda enjoyed a fine evening at the plate. He doubled plating all three
baserunners in the 3rd inning, stroked a single in the 5th inning and doubled
resulting in a run in the 9th inning. For the game Bozeman out-hit Oakland
14 to 9.
The winning pitcher was Wei-Yin Chen(4-4) who allowed 2 runs in 7 and 1/3
innings. Albert Suarez preserved the game for Chen, recording his his 2nd
save. Jameson Taillon(5-6) was tagged with the loss.
Bozeman continued their winnings ways improving their record to 58-74. They
are 9-1 in their last ten games. Joe Ingraffia was unhappy with his club's
recent performance. 'We can't keep losing games' he said. 'It gets to be
embarrassing after a while.'
