outscored the Tampico Stogies 10 to 7.
Dyersville promptly took the lead in their half of the first scoring 3 runners
on 4 hits. The highlight belonged to Realmuto who made the crowd come alive
when he bombed a two-run dinger. Dyersville totaled 12 hits on the night.
Scott Kazmir(5-3) was the winner allowing 4 runs in 5 innings. Jim Johnson got
the save, his 6th. The loss was charged to Chris Archer(8-8). He got hit
hard, allowing 8 hits and 2 walks in 3 innings.
With this win, Dyersville has a 45-57 record. They have been 3-7 lately.
Mike Aldrich was unhappy with his club's recent performance. 'We can't keep
losing games' he said. 'It gets to be embarrassing after a while.'
