At The O.K. Corral, the Tombstone fans witnessed a great pitcher's duel.
Marco Estrada(7-6) finally bested his Columbus opposite, Joe Ross(2-3), by
the score of 3 to 1.
Tombstone took the lead off Ross in the first inning when they tallied 2 runs
on 1 hit. That was all Estrada needed. Columbus threatened in the 9th but
their rally came up short.
Mark Melancon preserved the game for Estrada, recording his his 20th save.
Ross suffered the loss. Frank Lopeman was in a sour mood after the game.
'Even you guys up in the press box know why we lost this game. We made too
many mistakes.'
