The Burbank Tigers nipped the Dublin Pubcrawlers 9 to 8 at Chase Field in a
hard fought contest.
Burbank won the game with a run in the top of the 8th inning. Eugenio Suarez
drew a walk. Curtis Granderson got his turn next, but he was a strikeout
victim. After another out, Mark Trumbo was walked intentionally. Justin
Upton followed next and he drew a walk to load the bases. Logan Forsythe
came up to bat and drew a walk scoring the run. Burbank out-hit Dublin for
the game, 13 hits to 10.
Bryan Shaw(1-1) got the win allowing no runs in 2 innings. Shaw got help from
Nate Jones who was credited with his 3rd save. Joaquin Benoit(0-1) suffered
the loss in relief.
