One run was the difference at The O.K. Corral as the Tombstone Huckleberries
defeated the Tampico Stogies 4 to 3.
Tombstone scored all of the necessary runs in the 3rd inning scoring 4 runners
on 3 hits. That was all Corey Kluber(5-5) needed. Tampico tried
unsuccessfully to come back in the 9th.
Kluber was helped out by Mark Melancon who recorded his 12th save. Kevin
Gausman(5-3) was the loser. He gave up 4 runs in 2 and 1/3 innings of work.
'Anytime you lose it hurts,' said Mike Aldrich 'but it's losing the close ones
that really hurt.'
