One run was the difference at Comerica Park as the Chicago Colts defeated the
Yuma Desert Rats 3 to 2.

Chicago jumped on top of Yuma in the top of the 7th inning plating an isolated
run. Kevin Pillar doubled. D.J. Lemahieu was next and he laid down a
sacrifice bunt. Derek Dietrich then hit a deep fly scoring the run. Yuma
made it exciting in the 9th, but they were unable to push the needed runs
across.

Robbie Ray(1-3) allowed 2 runs in 7 innings, and picked up the victory. Ray
got help from Luke Gregerson who was credited with his 12th save. Marcus
Stroman(4-3) was given the loss.

Despite losing Brian Anderson was optimistic after the game. 'We'll get over
this one. Sometimes the breaks fall your way, sometimes they don't. Any one
of a dozen little things go different, and we come out on top.'
