Andrew Triggs had a strong outing and Yoenis Cespedes left the yard and had 2
RBI as the Dyersville Jurassics defeated the Aarlington Aardvarks by a score
of 5 to 4 at the ballpark.
Aarlington was unable to climb back into it after Dyersville went ahead for
good in the 7th inning scoring a single run utilizing 2 base hits.
Aarlington tried unsuccessfully to come back in the 9th.
Triggs(1-1) went 5 innings allowing no runs for the victory. Jim Johnson
recorded his 1st save. Hunter Strickland(1-1) was the losing pitcher in
relief.
'Just one or two mistakes were all it took to beat us tonight' Steve Linke
said. 'We take these games one day at a time, but this one was hard to
take.'
