Adam Duvall connected with a 'big fly' and had 6 RBI as the Dyersville
Jurassics defeated the Oakland Athletics by a score of 12 to 11 at the
ballpark.
Duvall had a great evening at the plate. He doubled with all three runners
coming home in the 4th inning, tripled in the 6th inning and lofted a
three-run 'big-fly' in the 7th inning. Oakland had a chance to come back in
the 9th but they came up short.
The win was credited to Luis Perdomo(1-0) who went 3 and 1/3 innings allowing
1 run. Jeremy Jeffress was credited with his 2nd save. The loss was charged
to Cody Allen(0-1) in relief. He gave up 2 runs and 2 hits in 1 and 2/3
innings.
'I felt great out there tonight' Duvall said. 'I was seeing the ball
perfectly, and I was right on it with my swing.
