Tampico was unable to climb back into it after Aarlington went ahead for good in the bottom of the 7th inning when they came up with 3 runs on 5 hits. The biggest moment was provided by James Loney who made the Aarlington fans a happy lot when he stroked a single plating two runs. Aarlington had 12 hits overall, while Tampico had 4. The win went to Degrom(5-0) who allowed 2 runs in 7 innings. Brett Cecil got the save, his 2nd. Chris Archer(1-4) suffered the loss. While he was the losing pitcher, he still struck out 10 batters in 6 and 1/3 innings. Aarlington now has a record of 10-11. Tampico has a record of 6-15, worst in the division after the loss. Dublin took the lead for keeps in the bottom of the 2nd inning scoring one runner utilizing 3 base hits. Dublin had a total of 10 hits for the game. Madison Bumgarner(2-2) got the win allowing no runs in 6 and 1/3 innings. Chris Tillman(0-2) suffered the loss. He gave up 8 hits and 4 walks in 7 innings.
