Lemahieu of a base hit. Center fielder Kevin Pillar went deep and had 3 RBI as the Chicago Colts staged a dramatic comeback over the Yuma Desert Rats by a score of 11 to 10 at West Side Park. Chicago had the winning rally in the bottom of the 9th inning scoring 2 runs. After an out was recorded, Pillar started the attack as he was hit by a pitch. After another out, D.J. Lemahieu stepped in and he drew a walk. Adeiny Hechavarria then drew a walk to load the bases. Troy Tulowitzki came up and he doubled resulting in an exciting win for Chicago and a raucous post-game celebration by the home town fans. Due to a poorly pitched ballgame, scoring in 6 different innings was still not enough for Yuma to come away with the victory. The winning pitcher was Bryan Shaw(1-6) who allowed 2 runs in 1/3 of an inning. Charlie Furbush(0-1) was the losing pitcher in relief. He pitched 2/3 of an inning and surrendered 1 hit and 2 walks.
