Center fielder Michael Brantley had 4 hits and 3 RBI as the red-hot Dublin
Pubcrawlers beat the Hendersonville Commandoes by a score of 18 to
10.
Brantley had a big evening at the plate. He laced a base-hit in the 1st
inning, doubled bringing in two baserunners in the 2nd inning, doubled in the
3rd inning and delivered a single scoring a run in the 4th inning. Dublin
bats were hot in the 3rd inning when they had 5 runs on 5 hits and the 4th
inning with 6 runs on 7 hits. Overall Dublin out-hit Hendersonville 20 to
10.
Joaquin Benoit(4-1) went 2 innings allowing no runs for the win. Nathan
Eovaldi(3-10) was the loser. Dublin scored big getting 9 runs off him in 2
innings.
Dublin continued their winning ways, with their streak now at 9 games and
counting. 'Everything seems to be going right for us' said Adam Smith. 'I've
got the easiest job in the league right now!'
