Third baseman Josh Donaldson smashed 2 homeruns as the Tampico Stogies came
back to win one over Chicago Colts, 8 to 7.
 
Tampico won the game with a rally in the 9th inning scoring 4 runners on 2
hits.  The critical plate appearance was by Donaldson who quieted the home
crowd when he quieted the crowd by clouting a Grand Slam.  Tampico rapped out
11 hits for the night.  
 
Jake Diekman(2-0) was the winner allowing no runs in 2 and 2/3 innings. John
Axford recorded the save, his 18th.  Edwin Jackson(2-4) was tagged with the
loss in relief.  He surrendered 1 hit and 1 walk in 1 inning.  
 
Mike Aldrich was all smiles after the game, 'To pull a game out in your last
at bats, is a beautiful feeling - and did you see how quiet it got out there?
You could have heard a pin drop when we took the lead.  But, hey, that's what
makes baseball so great - as the great sage Yogi Berra says, 'it's not over
'til its over.'
