9,446 fans watched an exciting game at West Side Park.  The Tampico Stogies
topped the Chicago Colts by the slimmest of margins, 6 to 5.
 
Tampico took the lead for good in the top of the 5th inning scoring a single
run using 2 hits.  Yasmany Tomas ripped a solo home run.  Tampico banged out
13 hits on the night.  
 
The win went to Jose Quintana(6-6) who allowed 3 runs in 7 and 1/3 innings.
John Axford gained credit for his 17th save.  Mark Buehrle(10-5) was the
losing pitcher.  He allowed a few too many baserunners giving up 9 hits and 2
walks in 5 innings.
