Mike Leake took a no-hitter into the 6th inning as the very talented Hoffman
Estates Penguins bested the New York The Yanks 6 to 2 at The
Coliseum.
Leake(8-4) earned his pay with a solid performance for Hoffman Estates. He
allowed 2 hits and 1 walk in 5 and 2/3 innings. The right-handed Leake had
his no-hit bid broken up by Gerardo Parra who doubled with two outs in the
6th inning. Hoffman Estates finished with 11 hits while New York ended up
with 3.
Trevor Bauer(5-8) was tagged with the loss. He couldn't find the strike zone
