Jesse Chavez had an impressive outing at the ballpark as the Dyersville
Jurassics beat the Chicago Colts 5 to 3.
Jose Alvarez(1-1) was reasonably effective in relief and got credit with the
victory. He surrendered 2 hits and 3 walks in 1 inning. Chicago tried
unsuccessfully to come back in the 9th.
Arodys Vizcaino recorded the save, his 6th. Edwin Jackson(2-3) was the loser
in relief. He pitched 1 and 2/3 innings and surrendered 4 hits and no
walks.
Rich Domovic was subdued after the ballgame, 'That one really hurts. If our
guys had simply played more fundamentally sound, we could have won that one.
That is what really ticks me off!'
