Chris Sale mowed down 12 Chicago batters as the Streator Reds defeated the
Chicago Colts 7 to 3 at West Side Park.
 
Sale(10-4) pitched a solid game.  He allowed 9 hits and 2 walks in 7 and 1/3
innings.  Overall Streator out-hit Chicago 16 to 9.  Tom Wilhelmsen recorded
his 1st save.  Mark Buehrle(8-4) was the losing pitcher.  He allowed 3
homeruns in 6 innings of work.  
 
'He was really impressive tonight,' Buehrle said of his counterpart.  'Our
guys were just swinging at air.'
