Tampico Stogies topped the Dyersville Jurassics in 10 innings by a score of 1
to 0 at the ballpark.
Neither team managed to score in the first nine innings. Tampico won the hard
fought contest in the 10th inning. After an out was recorded, Spangenberg
doubled. Ketel Marte was next and he doubled scoring the run. Dyersville
was retired without difficulty in the bottom of the 10th.
The win went to John Axford(2-2) who allowed no runs in 2 innings. Daniel
Hudson(0-7) was the losing pitcher in relief. He gave up 2 hits and no walks
in 1 inning.
