Catcher Brian McCann homered and had 3 RBI as the Chicago Colts defeated the
San Ybel Islanders 10 to 3 at West Side Park.
 
Chicago jumped on top of San Ybel in the bottom of the 3rd inning when they
scored 2 runs on 1 hit.  The key offensive moment was provided by McCann who
made the crowd happy when he smashed a two-run homer.  Chicago had 14 hits
for the game and San Ybel had 5.  
 
The winning pitcher was Jeff Samardzija(3-5) who allowed 2 runs in 6 innings.
Jeanmar Gomez got the save, his 1st.  The loss was charged to Kendall
Graveman(2-2).  He got hit hard, allowing 8 hits and 3 walks in 5 innings.
