Adam Lind had 4 hits at Progressive Field as the San Ybel Islanders won a
thriller over the Aarlington Aardvarks in, 5 to 4.
The game was won by San Ybel when they scored a run in the bottom of the 9th
inning. After an out was recorded, Lind doubled. Jason Castro came next and
he drew a walk. Aaron Altherr then drew a walk to load the bases. Alcides
Escobar stepped in and he worked the squeeze play to perfection giving San
Ybel the win much to the delight of the home town crowd. Both teams ended up
with 9 hits on the night.
The win was credited to Carlos Villanueva(2-2) who went 2 and 2/3 innings
allowing no runs. Xavier Cedeno(0-1) took the loss in relief. He surrendered
1 run and 1 hit in 1 and 1/3 innings.
