topped the New York The Yanks by the slimmest of margins, 5 to 4.
Columbus took the lead for keeps in the bottom of the 3rd inning scoring one
runner on 2 hits. New York tried unsuccessfully to come back in the 9th.
Chris Young(2-2) was the winner allowing 4 runs in 6 and 1/3 innings. David
Robertson earned the save, his 2nd. Yovani Gallardo(1-4) took the loss. Jim
Calabrese was subdued after the ballgame, 'That one really hurts. If our
guys had simply played more fundamentally sound, we could have won that one.
That is what really ticks me off!'
