Chris Iannetta rocketed 2 homeruns and had 6 RBI as the Streator Reds bested
the Palatine Cubs 7 to 1 at Covert Ops Field.
Iannetta was unconscious all evening. The Palatine fans hated to see him
approaching the batter's box as he just kept delivering base hits! He lifted
one out of the park for a two run home run in the 4th inning, clubbed a
three-run home run in the 6th inning and lined a single which scored a run in
the 7th inning. Streator had a total of 10 hits for the game.
The victory went to Alex Cobb(9-11) who went 6 innings, allowing no runs.
Dallas Keuchel(9-13) was the loser. 'I was in my hotel room the other night,
working on my swing and made some adjustments,' Iannetta said. 'I'm always
working on it. If they are getting you out certain ways, you've got to make
changes.'
