Denard Span had 3 base hits as the San Ybel Islanders topped the Nimrod
Numnuts in 11 innings by a score of 7 to 3 at Stigman's Mound.
The score was knotted at 3 after nine innings. San Ybel ended up winning it
in the 11th inning. The biggest moment was provided by Tommy Medica who
disappointed the partisan crowd when he doubled which was good for two runs.
San Ybel rapped out 10 hits for the night.
The win went to Santiago Casilla(4-1) who allowed no runs in 1 and 2/3
innings. Cody Allen(2-2) ended up with the loss in relief. He gave up 2 hits
and 1 walk in 1 and 2/3 innings.
