Grady Sizemore cracked a homer and had 2 RBI and Vance Worley was able to
finish what he started and was credited with a complete game as the Palatine
Cubs defeated the Dublin Pubcrawlers by the score of 4 to 2 at Chase
Field.

Palatine erupted with the game winning runs in the top of the 9th inning with
2 runs using 2 hits. Justin Upton started the inning off right when he
ripped a base-knock. Sizemore followed next and he popped a two-run clout
over the fence. Two outs later Juan Lagares got his turn next, but he was a
strikeout victim. Dublin out-hit Palatine 10 to 7, but Palatine ended up
with more runs.

The winning pitcher was Worley(4-3) who allowed 2 runs for the game. Kyle
Lohse(1-5) was hit with the loss. 'I always am most impressed when a pitcher
finds a way to win even without his best stuff,' Tony Calabrese said after
the game. 'Worley did not have command of his pitches most of the night, but
he proved he really knew how to pitch!'
