A.J. Pierzynski jacked one out of the ballyard and had 2 RBI as the North
Dallas Fire Ants defeated the Dyersville Jurassics 4 to 3 at the
ballpark.
The game was won by North Dallas when they scored a run in the top of the 9th
inning. James Loney drew a walk. Aramis Ramirez stepped into the batter's
box and he slapped a single. Pierzynski dug into the batters box next, but
he struck out. One out later, Jose Reyes came to bat and stroked a single.
Reyes took second on the throw. Justin De Fratus(5-0) got help from Trevor
Rosenthal who pitched great and earned his 14th save.
Greg Holland(1-4) took the loss in relief. He gave up 2 hits and 1 walk in
2/3 of an inning.
