At the ballpark the North Dallas Fire Ants were battered 8 to 2 by the
Dyersville Jurassics.
North Dallas was unable to recover after Dyersville went ahead in the top of
the 2nd inning when they tallied 2 runs on 3 hits. The big moment was
provided by Curtis Granderson who silenced the stadium when he smashed a
two-run homer. Overall Dyersville out-hit North Dallas 14 to 7.
The win was credited to Wily Peralta(1-2) who went 6 innings allowing no runs.
Peralta was helped out by Daisuke Matsuzaka who recorded his 1st save. Matt
Garza(2-2) was tagged with the loss. He allowed 11 hits and 4 walks in 7
innings.
