Left fielder Charlie Blackmon hit 2 doubles as the Chicago Colts topped the
Glen Oaks Bombers by a score of 6 to 3 at Lateralus Parabola.
 
Chicago took the lead off Aaron Harang in the first inning scoring a single
run.  After an out was recorded, Blackmon drew a walk.  Prince Fielder was
next and he doubled.  Jose Bautista then hit a deep fly.  Welington Castillo
was up next and he was hit by a pitch.  Glen Oaks had a chance to come back
in the 9th but they came up short.  
 
Jeff Samardzija(13-10) went 8 innings allowing 3 runs for the victory.
Harang(3-7) was given the loss.  He pitched 7 innings giving up 11 hits and 1
walk.
