The Chicago Colts put a halt to their 5 game losing streak and defeated the
Dyersville Jurassics by a score of 8 to 5 at West Side Park.
Jeff Samardzija(12-10) had a solid outing for Chicago. He allowed 6 hits and
3 walks in 6 innings. Samardzija mowed down 9 Dyersville batters. Chicago
ended up with 12 hits for the game while Dyersville had 9.
Samardzija got relief help from Ronald Belisario who gained credit for his 1st
save. The loss was charged to Shelby Miller(10-8). He was not very
