169 fans watched an exciting game at Stigman's Mound. The Nimrod Numnuts
topped the North Dallas Fire Ants by the slimmest of margins, 4 to 3.
The score was knotted at 3 after nine innings. Nimrod ended up winning it in
the 10th inning. After an out was recorded, Jordan Schafer laced a single.
Schafer took second on a stolen base. After another out, Lucas Duda then
doubled making Nimrod the winners and sending the 169 fans home happy.
Nimrod banged out 11 hits on the night.
The win went to Koji Uehara(9-2) who allowed no runs in 2 innings. Trevor
Rosenthal(9-2) was given the loss in relief. Despite taking the loss, he
whiffed 4 batters in 1 and 2/3 innings.
Wth the win Nimrod now has a record of a division leading 92-46. With the
loss, North Dallas has a record of 5-5 lately, 67-71 overall.
