Second baseman Brad Miller went yard and had 2 RBI at West Side Park as the
Chicago Colts beat the hopeless Egham Raiders by the count of 7 to
2.
 
Chicago took the lead for keeps in the 3rd inning plating 2 runs utilizing 3
base hits.  Mitch Moreland kicked off the action when he ripped a solo home
run.  Alfonso Soriano was next and he banged out a single.  Soriano took
second on a stolen base.  Chicago continued their aggressive style with
another stolen base.  Brett Lawrie came to the plate and ripped a single.
One out later, Prince Fielder came up and he grounded into a double play.
Chicago banged out 9 hits on the night.  
 
The win was credited to Tim Hudson(6-5) who went 7 innings allowing 2 runs.
Brandon Workman(0-4) absorbed the loss.  The Chicago ballclub's record now
stands at 57-47.  With the loss, the Egham ballclub's record is 35-69, worst
in the division.
