slimmest of margins, 9 to 8.
The game was deadlocked at 7 after nine full innings. California won the hard
fought contest in the 10th inning. After an out was recorded, Carlos Santana
opened up the rally as he stroked a base-hit. Desmond Jennings was next and
he ripped a single. Norichika Aoki then delivered a base-hit. Aoki took
second on the throw. Carl Crawford stepped in and he ripped a one-base hit.
California out-hit Dublin for the game, 14 hits to 10.
