First baseman Chris Davis cracked a homer and had 2 RBI at West Side Park
where the Egham Raiders beat the Chicago Colts 6 to 5.
 
Chicago found themselves trailing quickly as the Egham bats came through in
the first inning plating one baserunner utilizing 2 base hits.  Chicago had a
chance to come back in the 9th but they came up short.  
 
Tommy Milone(1-8) allowed 5 runs in 6 innings, and picked up the victory.
Milone got relief help from Rafael Soriano who gained credit for his 10th
save.  Tim Hudson(5-3) was given the loss.  
 
Bill Nichols was beaming after the game, 'Not only were we making good
contact, but a lot of balls we hit seemed to have 'eyes'! I just love winning
these tight ones! It was just our evening - no doubt about it!'
