Edwin Jackson dominated striking out 12 Dyersville batters at the ballpark
where the Glen Oaks Bombers beat the Dyersville Jurassics 10 to 4.
Shin-Soo Choo enjoyed a fine evening at the plate. He tripled which brought
home a run in the 3rd inning and lifted one out of the park for a two run
home run in the 4th inning. Overall Glen Oaks out-hit Dyersville 14 to 9.
Jackson(3-4) got the win allowing 3 runs in 7 and 2/3 innings. Bartolo
Colon(5-2) ended up with the loss. He allowed 3 homeruns in 3 and 2/3
innings of work.
Jackson was pleased with his performance. He noted, 'I had good command of
all my pitches. Just as important, my location was right on.'
