In a dramatic ending at West Side Park the Chicago Colts won in their last
at-bat beating the San Ybel Islanders by the count of 5 to 4.
The game was won by Chicago when they scored a run in the 9th inning. D.J.
Lemahieu lined a one-base hit. David Dejesus stepped up next and he doubled.
Brad Miller then laced a single making Chicago the victors to the delight of
the home town faithful. Chicago rapped out 12 hits for the night.
The victory was credited to Bryan Shaw(2-1) who went 1 and 2/3 innings,
allowing no runs. Hector Santiago(0-2) suffered the loss in relief. He
allowed 1 run and 3 hits in 1 and 1/3 innings.
