Tyler Thornburg allowed Rich Domovic to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete
game at West Side Park as the Chicago Colts pulled off a dramatic comeback
beating the San Ybel Islanders by the count of 3 to 2.
Chicago had the winning rally in the 9th inning with 2 runs. Jose Bautista
led off the inning for Chicago when he drew a walk. Prince Fielder was next
and he bombed a two-run dinger making Chicago the winners and sending the
9,283 fans home happy. San Ybel had 10 hits in the game while Chicago had 7,
but Chicago had the more timely hits.
Thornburg(4-3), allowing 2 runs for the game, picked up the victory. Kenley
Jansen(0-1) ended up with the loss in relief. He surrendered 2 runs and 1
hit without retiring a batter.
Thornburg and Fielder were really whooping it up in the clubhouse after the
great come from behind victory. As Rich Domovic noted, 'A win like this one
