The 2013 World Series is
history. In case you missed any of the playoff series.
Wildcard – DUB bests DET 4-2
scores were (2-7, 0-4, 3-1, 1-0, 3-0 and 12-3)
First round – BUR beats DZK 4-2
scores were (2-1, 7-10, 6-4, 6-13, 4-2 and 7-6 in 10 innings)
Second Round – CRC eliminates
DUB 4-3 scores were (5-7, 3-4, 2-5, 4-2, 6-3, 3-2 and 9-1)
Second Round – HUC eliminates
BUR 4-2 scores were (3-1, 2-5, 6-1, 6-3, 1-2 and 4-3)
World Series – HUC defeats
CRC 4-3 scores were (7-11, 0-4, and 10-1, 3-2 in 10 innings, 2-1 in 14 innings,
2-5 and 5-3)
The World Series must have
been fun, with the nail biters in games four and five.
Congratulations to all the
playoff teams and to all the other teams for a successful 2013 season.
Some dates to remember:
12/24/2013 – Cuts due, 20 man
protect list.
1/9/2014 – Trade deadline for
pre-draft trades.
1/24/2014 – Ballpark change
selections due.
2/7/2013 – Draft begins at
7pm (officially)
Also, I ask that each owner
pay his dues before draft date to help get the draft off to a smooth start.
FINANCES:
Bank account balance is
1010.38.
Doug (HUC) kept his winnings
in the league treasury by request. I applied the other winnings to 2014 dues and
trade fees. Paid out Adam (DUB) the balance owed of $51 via Paypal.
I have not heard from Alan
(CRC) who has a $39 credit after applying $40 to CRC’s 2014 dues. Alan, if you
want me to pay out your $39, just email or post on the board instructions.
