In an exciting finish the San Ybel Islanders pulled out a win over the Tampico
Stogies by a score of 7 to 6 at Progressive Field.

The game was won by San Ybel with a run in the bottom of the 9th inning.
After an out was recorded, Denard Span drew a walk. One out later, Tom
Wilhelmsen came to bat and had one get away for a wild pitch. Dexter Fowler
then drew a walk. Kyle Seager came up and he laced a base-knock resulting in
an exciting win for San Ybel and a raucous post-game celebration by the home
town fans. Due to a poorly pitched ballgame, scoring in 5 different innings
was still not enough for Tampico to come away with the victory.

The victory was credited to Kenley Jansen(2-4) who went 1 inning, allowing 1
run. Wilhelmsen(2-5) was the losing pitcher in relief.

With this win, San Ybel has a 50-68 record. They have been 6-4 lately. With
this loss, Tampico has a 3-7 record of late, 50-68, worst in the division
overall.
