The California Luv edged the DeKalb Zeitgeist at Bob Marley Event Ctr by the
score of 5 to 4.
In the 6th inning California scored 3 runs. DeKalb threatened in the 9th but
their rally came up short. Mike Leake(3-7) allowed 4 runs in 7 and 2/3
innings, and picked up the victory. Leake got help from Derek Lowe who was
credited with his 4th save. James McDonald(3-3) took the loss. He struck
out 9 batters in 5 and 2/3 innings despite losing the game.
'It's a disheartening loss, no question about it' said Steve Seydell 'But we
have to get over it and get ready for the next game.'
