Aramis Ramirez jacked one out of the ballyard and had 2 RBI as the North
Dallas Fire Ants ballclub embarrassed the Chicago Colts by the count of 13 to
1.
Chicago was unable to climb back into it after North Dallas went ahead for
good in the top of the 3rd inning scoring 2 runners on 4 hits. The early run
support proved sufficient for Matt Garza(2-2) and North Dallas. That was all
the run support Garza required. North Dallas lit up the scoreboard in the
6th inning with 6 runs on 6 hits. North Dallas dominated offensively as they
scored in 6 different innings.
Jeff Samardzija(1-4) was the losing pitcher. He was knocked around pretty
good, giving up 10 runs in 5 and 2/3 innings. The North Dallas ballclub's
record now stands at 12-12. With the loss, Chicago has a record of 4-6
lately, 10-14 overall.
