The Columbus Crowd easily topped the California Luv; the final score was 11 to
5.

David Freese was a seemingly constant irritant to the hometown fans as he
provided much of the offense for the visitors. He doubled bringing home two
baserunners in the 2nd inning, ripped a solo home run in the 3rd inning and
doubled which plated a run in the 9th inning. Columbus had 16 hits for the
night while California had 9.

The victory was credited to Dan Straily(1-1) who went 8 innings, allowing 5
runs. The loss was charged to Mike Leake(0-3). He pitched 6 innings allowing
8 hits and no walks.
